We are often asked "What is heritage?"

The answer can vary depending on whose opinion you are seeking. However, the Royal Society for the Arts, commissioned by the Heritage Lottery Fund, have produced a Heritage Index, which looks at every town and city in the UK, and ranks it according to it's heritage.

There is a lot of data in the report, however, one thing stands out above all others:

Wrexham County Borough is second only to Rhondda, Cynon, Taff at the BOTTOM of the Heritage Index.
